Information contained in SciFinder is from the CAS databases produced by the Chemical Abstracts Service including Chemical Abstracts, covering from 1907 to present and CAS Registry, from 1957 to present, with some classes (fluorine- and silicon-containing compounds) going back to the early 1900s. Some cited, as well as citing references, are included. The databases contain over 22,100,000 document records from more than 8000 journals published worldwide in over 50 languages. All records in the database are in English, regardless of the language of the original document. Chemistry and related fields are the focus of this database.
SciFinder will not work with Internet Explorer version 6; please see the system requirements link below for more information on browser and system requirements.
